film of scanned tree
The final installation of “To glitch the home (to heal)” was shown at Generation Brussels 2021, part of the Brussels Gallery Weekend. The installation consisted out two single screen films: one screen shows a camera movement circling around a 3D scanned tree, the other shows a narrative short film where the main character is a stone traveling in outer space, exploring planets, trees and women.
These two screens were placed in a shape on the floor consisting out of black sand. Within this landscape stands an engraved sculpture of black plexiglass, textile prints of trees hang from the ceiling between dyed pieces of string and black clay tablets lie in the sand.
