“Berlin_2” is the second outcome of the Berlin series.

The first piece made was a sculpture made out of wood, reflective tape and a grey brick. When placed in the right light and looked at from the right angle, the tape sometimes reflects, sometimes stays flat.

When photographing this piece a new reality came to be. By using the technical tools that are available on a digital camera, the result is completely different than what you see by looking at it with the bare eye.

This series investigates the thin line between creating and manipulating that is often present in photography and tries to demystify the myth of “the one true artpiece”, by appropriating and (re)mixing ones own piece.
